LL2?

Anyone remember the old LL2 idea? Gather up 4 tgp2 galleries, put up a "warning" page, and a main page which has link to the tgp2 galleries?

I'm sitting here brainstorming and this old idea came back into mind and I am wondering if anyone would be interested in putting that together again. Of course, we wouldn't be able to play ball with the regular old established LLs, but then again we probably don't want to do that anyway.

How about tweaking the idea a teeny tiny bit to say instead of all 4 galleries being from the same set, they only have to match layout and sponsor?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Criticisms?

I take it you are talking about a free site model using tgp2 galleries? If so, this has always been an option for stand alone sites. Some directories like DMOZ may not approve because of the content numbers are too low by their current standards. Even so, there's no other reason why anyone can't do these, it's certainly an easier way for webmasters who buy lots of domains to populate their sites as it stands.

If you can elaborate or if I'm not reading right, please clarify, I'm half asleep as I'm writing this.

I'll try to put together an example today. I know it won't be accepted at 99% of the LLs, but 99.9% of TGPs don't accept our galleries either LOL

I run a modern day LL - LL1 Id guess it to be

I wouldnt mind seeing a revamp of some of the old ways. I think a structure as follows would work

*warning/index page - clear ENTER link
*main page with 4 gallery links
*4 TGP2 style galleries

I think that keeping the same niche throughout is important and not mixing Hardcore and Softcore together would also be key. Or at least what I'd suggest.

Im actually working on another list set to open sometime in March. I wouldnt mind allowing submits with that structure to trusted submitters.

I would be willing to take those types of sites as well - even with 3 instead of 4 galleries - keep the number of free pics down.

My only thought on the LL2 style with 4 galleries is for the 20 pic threshold and maybe 3 for movies do 3 TGP2 with 2 on each.

But as you said Id take them with 3 or 4 galleries
